Introducing some fresh new underground talent on the UK Hip Hop scene, East London’s Joey Mane…
“I was always talented in music from a young age. I just started taking it seriously at a late stage.
In year 9 that is when I started rapping but I actually started taking it seriously in year 11. Now I’m 17 and like everyone else in the unsigned world, I’m trying to get some recognition because I know that what I speak in my tracks is what happens in my life.
My Hometown is in Plaistow; East London, But i used to go to school everyday in Tottenham, North London; a place where I really learnt a lot from. My music basically explains what a young guy like myself goes through; (big dreams, pain, the struggle, good past, bad past etc.)
Some of my songs tell stories, some of them have deep messages which are used to teach people and some are just great songs for people my age would like to listen to.”
